Frequencies used by TV Aerial transmissions and mobile phone communications, there is a greatly increased chance of unwanted interference on your TV. This interference will manifest itself on your TV sets as picture and sound breakup. The interference is caused by new 4G high speed mobile broadband signals (used by new 4G phones and transmitters), designed to increase the speed and capacity of mobile communications. These new 4G signals are going to be broadcast extremely close to existing TV aerial signals (they are actually being broadcast in the frequency space that used to be used for TV channels before Digital Switchover). This means that all existing TV aerials, splitters, amplifiers and masthead amplifiers are designed to pick up, distribute and amplify the very signals that will be the cause of this interference. I had expected to have to install an amplifier but this wasn't required. We fitted the aerial in the loft, using the clamp provide to mount the aerial on a short wood batten. The aerial is good quality, well made and the instructions were clear. You need to take your time assembling the components as like all aerials the parts are easy to bend, probably best to have someone to help support the "arms" while you assemble them onto the main bar. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent - Better Than My Main TV Antenna *by J***N on 7 April 2022* Easy to assemble and I use it as my 2nd TV antenna, placed in the loft for my hobby room TV. It actually works better than the main TV antenna we had professionally installed on the roof a few weeks ago! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loft solution?? *by R***E on 5 June 2018* Bought this for the 4G filter because I thought my traditional aerial was giving poor or no signal quality, particularly with HD channels. I positioned the new aerial in the same position in the LOFT but didn’t see any real improvement! I suspected, because we are in a strong signal area for BOTH South Wales and the South West(England), that there was a bit of a conflict. However, I am no expert on the technical aspects with TV signal issues and I was almost at the point of moving the Aerial to an outside roof position. As a last ditch attempt to try one final option in the loft, I turned the aerial on its side (45degrees), on the same bracket and in the same position. BINGO! I now have a perfect picture and great quality signal on ALL, including HD channels. A successful outcome may be due to the roof construction, but maybe an ‘expert’ on such matters may be able to explain better! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/68300664-digital-tv-aerial-slx-27887d4-4g-filtered-32-element-aerial](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/68300664-digital-tv-aerial-slx-27887d4-4g-filtered-32-element-aerial) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
