Review: This mesh was a perfect answer to my needs on a G scale model railroad locomotive engine cover. The mesh size was a good scale approximation to a real life application. The 3 large sheets were more than I'll ever find a need for (for now) and arrived quickly, with only a few corners slightly damaged from the clear plastic mailing sleeve they were sent in. I would have thought they would be packaged better in a cardboard envelop to prevent shipping damage, but there was plenty of screen to trim out the small 1 1/2" x 1 3/4" pieces that I needed for my 2 tractor locos. I chose stainless steel mesh as it is stiffer and less prone to damage when picking these small locos up from the track or storage shelf. Aluminum wire mesh just isn't up to the task of avoiding a mushed in screen if a finger happens to touch it. Very pleased with this find.
Review: I have several rain barrels and over the years the drains have deteriorated and it's almost impossible to buy replacements so I kept looking around for something I could substitute. I came across these and they were easy to just snip into squares, and I was able to push the spout down to adhere to the barrel perfectly eliminating the need for a lip type handle that the original drains had only to break off anyway. You get a lot in this package, so I'll have backups as needed for sure.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: could a mouse chew through this?**
A: I think not easily or quickly. Rodent teeth are capable of amazing feats! When I was trying to be a hamster parent, I was advised by someone more experienced NOT to use wire mesh for the enclosure, because given enough time they would chew through. Plexiglass was recommended & it did not get chewed. (The edges were not accessible to hamster - only the flat surfaces. I think the wire would be fine as a top cover. This is a pretty sturdy mesh.

**Q: Will this stick to magnet ?**
A: No. I just checked and a magnet will not stick to it.

**Q: Can we use this in aquarium without hurting fish?**
A: Depending on how how you intend to use it? I installed a piece in my small aquarium to block the baby fish from being siphoned into the filter intake. The screen is on the inside of the filter where the fish do not come in contact with the screen. Seems to work fine. The screen has discolored to brown from being in the tank water. The fish are doing well. It has been about a month.

**Q: Can I use it as the airflow?**
A: Of course, the mesh is quite good. Over time, it will get clogged with lint.You can use something to clean it, would be fine.
