We spend a lot of the winter up on the mountain and a hot lunch is a must. This baby does a great job of keeping things hot. Chicken soup, chili, stew, even lasagna (not the prettiest thing;)) all stayed nice and hot. Plus it is big enough for our family of four. It has a handy carrying handle that pops out so I can fit my hand in there with my gloves still on and there is a bowl in the lid plus you can use the lid as a bowl as well.
