Review: My little rockstar’s favorite toy! - I bought this for my 4-year-old’s birthday, and it has been the biggest hit in our house! I was looking for something more than just a basic plastic ukulele but not quite a "real" heavy instrument yet, and this set is the perfect middle ground. The guitar itself is lightweight enough for a toddler to carry around, but it feels surprisingly durable—it’s survived being dropped on the hardwood floor more than a few times already. The different sound modes and the pre-set songs are great because even if they aren't actually "playing" notes yet, they feel like they’re making music. The little amp and microphone stand are what really make the set. My daughter loves "performing" for the family, and the mic actually works! It’s loud enough to be fun for them but (thankfully for the parents) not so loud that it’s overwhelming. It’s also a huge plus that the height of the mic stand is adjustable so it can grow with them for a bit. If you’re looking for a gift that will actually get them up and moving instead of sitting in front of a screen, this is it. It’s been weeks and he still plays with it every single day. Totally worth it for the price!

This is TERRIBLE! The cord shorted out within a few weeks. The cords should be detachable from all three components not just the amp. I believe that, possibly, would have prevented the problem. As is, this toy is TRASH!
