GHIRARDELLI HERITAGE, SINCE 1852 In 1849, during the California Gold Rush, Italian-born Domingo Ghirardelli moved to America and opened a store in a mining camp. Review: Year round chocolate... - this is expensive stuff but cant go wrong with Gharidelli chocolate ANYTHING. I put in a coffee bar acrylic shelf,, in this strange new world we are in, i wanted to have more fun with my morning coffee. Foam and drizzled sauces.. and NOW its soon summertime, this stuff goes well with ice cream, cookies.. etc. So its year round. Yes expensive, but I liked the bottles, which I will reuse, and all flavors taste great, the caramel, white chocolate too tastes great sometimes you cant taste white choc, but you can with this and the brown choc is fab. If you have the dough to blow , try this out.

A: Yes, it's dark chocolate

**Q: Can you use this product for caramel apples?can**
A: No. The caramel in the bottles is liquid. You would need candies that you melt down so that they would return to a solid again once cooled.

**Q: Does it get hard?**
A: No, it stays soft; however, it's very thick to start with so as it gets close to the bottom it helps to store it upside down.  When you go to use it at the end warm it in warm water.

**Q: What is the unit of the measuring spoon? 1tbs?**
