Strong, tough. Not too heavy for camping trip backpack weight. Could be used for placement under a tent to protect the floor of the tent from the ground or it could be spread out inside and to act as the floor of the tent inside, thereby protecting the floor of the tent itself from damage. Haven't tried it yet in rain conditions but I feel it would work beautifully as a poncho. The overall quality of the poncho is good. The seams are nicely done to provide a watertight seal and the stitching is also well done with no frays or loose threads. Overall I like the rain poncho and the quality of the product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ so properly waterproof Minus points * Plastic press studs (but metal grommets) * Not rip stop material A good item, recommended *by N***S on 23 January 2017* Bought to keep in the car as emergency rain wear.Plus points:* Heavy duty material, much thicker than expected* Rubberised, so properly waterproofMinus points* Plastic press studs (but metal grommets)* Not rip stop materialA good item, recommended and fit for purpose, but in hindsight I would probably have spent an extra £4 or £5 on a Mil-tec or Helikon item and got something up to military spec. Or maybe looked for a genuine surplus item. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality *by A***N on 25 November 2016* This is great. I bought this for my other half who loves fishing and going clay pigeon shooting but at this time of year especially it is usually wet at some point and he has came home soaked through, so to save him getting another cold i found this for him. It came well packaged and very quick delivery. I think it is great quality and does exactly what it says, he thinks its very good and is happy with it. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/68442653-mture-rain-poncho-waterproof-raincoat-poncho-for-outdoor-camping-military](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/68442653-mture-rain-poncho-waterproof-raincoat-poncho-for-outdoor-camping-military) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
