Review: Best broth ever! - This makes amazing broth! It's sold as a soup base with an all in recipe on the container, but I taste tasted my way into making the perfect cup of broth - 2 tsp for a big soup cup (so about 400ml of 70-80C water); about 30 calories, but it hits the trifecta for good broth: fatty, savoury and salty. That little bit of fat just gives it such a full flavour and it's absolutely what's missing in other broths. There's no storage instructions though I've been keeping mine in the fridge since I opened it (because of the fat content, I'd be worried about it going rancid). Happy to say that it's been a good month and it's still as good as when I bought it!
Review: Pretty good. - Not as good as home made, but saved hours of time. The taste is not bad when you have to have your Pho fix.

**Q: How do i use it? i understand about a soup base in a packet. how about that pasted in a jar? do i use it? if yes, how much?**
A: Thank you for interest in Quoc Viet Foods Beef Flavored Pho, each jar contains the concentrated stock and two spice packets. One jar is capable of making 20 bowls of Pho.  You can divide the concentrated paste in half and use just one spice packet for 10 bowls. To make a fully authentic bowl of Beef Pho broth, you would need to have the following ingredients: 3lbs of beef flank or brisket, 1lb beef tendon, 1 bulb of onion, and 2 pieces of ginger. The instructions are on the jar. Full disclosure this is not a instant 5 minute microwave product. Cooking time is roughly an hour. The traditional way of cooking pho is about 6-8 hours- to put things into prospective.

**Q: Do you have to refrigerate the open container?**
A: yes, I did. But I need to put the open container in a zipped plastic bag, otherwise, the soup base will be very hard to get them out, the refrigerator smells like a Pho restaurant.

**Q: How much do we use per cup of water?**
A: Hi,
You would use 9g or about 1.5 to 2 teaspoon of soup base per cup of water. If you use the entire 3-lb jar of soup base, then you will use 10 gallon of water.

**Q: What are the measurements if I want to make a single bowl? How do you use the spices for a small portion?**
A: Thank you for your interest in Quoc Viet Foods. Unfortunately the spice bags cannot be divided down to a single serving application. There are two spice bags per jar only.  One jar is used to make 20 bowls of soup bowls.
