I bought the AOUCHI Leather Welding BBQ Fire Gloves for use with my open fire, and they’ve been spot on. The gloves are thick, well-made, and provide excellent heat protection when adding logs or adjusting the fire. I feel confident handling hot materials without the heat coming through. The extra length is a real bonus, as it protects the wrists and lower forearms when reaching into the fire. These are great gloves and excellent value for money. I bought these to use when opening my log burner as the handle gets very hot. It only feels slightly warm when wearing the gloves. They haven’t shown any significant wear yet either!
