I like the principle of it too but it is very small. I bought the larger of the 2 sizes and it only makes me 1 mug of tea. As other reviews have mentioned you would need to fill it to the brim to get the stated quantity of liquid. That isn't possible when making a pot of tea. The lid does fit well on my one and there don't appear to be any cracks from transport either.
