SF Bay compostable pods don’t work. I’m returning the coffee maker. **Q: I broke the water jug to this appliance… totally my fault. my problem is that i’m having a hard time finding a replacement water jug for this.** A: Try first checking with customer service. They may be able to direct you to the right source. If you don’t want to do that; there should be a customer service number listed on the instructions booklet that came with your coffee maker. I love it except for the fact I can’t use my favorite coffee pods.** A: I have not used the compostable K-cup pods but anything that went in the original Keurig machine will be compatible. Only thing that I could not use was the aftermarket K cup where you used your own powder. But Instant solo comes with its own pod where you can fill it up with your own powder and it make a good cuppa. Maybe not as fast as my Keurig was. Smaller footprint than my Keurig Elite. Price of this was much more reasonable than a new Keurig Elite. As far as the splatters go, I use a tall mug. The style of the 4 channels out may be why. My Keurig splattered too so it's not a deal breaker for me.
