A: Yes, it works if the refrigerator has the R134A R12 R22 or R502 refrigerants.

**Q: Can't attach hose to my car, the low and high pressure valve has a inner tread not an outer threaded nipple?**
A: Not sure of your question but I believe you're referring to the shriader valve. You can see visible threads internally. Most modern cars use R-134 that use the quick disconnect.  If your vehicle is from this decade you would need to use the quick disconnects that thread onto the hoses.

**Q: Will this set hook to a large refrigerant tank**
A: Yes, it can hook to a large refrigerant tank.

**Q: Will this set have everything needed to recharge old r-12 system?**
A: Yes, but you will need a high side adapter/fitting and I would strongly recommend that you get thumbscrew core depressors for standard R-12 and other (1/4" & 3/16" flare) access ports.
