They do exactly what they want and they are a very good buy. I've heard of other products coming out that are trying to do the same thing that these mitts do. Don't buy those, from what I've seen they're over prices and probably do more damage to your skin than good. You shouldn't be feeling any stinging after using a product like this which is what I've seen with a lot of copycats. I've been using these mitts for months and I have never felt any stinging or discomfort, but my skin is the softest its ever been. After using these just make sure you moisturize as a second step to taking care of your skin. If your concerned with dark skin around the knees and elbows I suggest trying these mitts.
