By a kit directly from ifixit to save the hassle and money on ordering another and having to wait another week to replace your battery. The suction cup with this kit was defective out of box, however, I don’t believe that had it not been defective it would have gotten the job done any better than the defective one did not. The plastic separator/spudger was cheap and also would not get the job done. The box sends you to ifixit dot com for a repair manual. When you get there and look at the suction cup provided by that company, as well as the spudger, the job immediately seems impossible with the toyish suction cup you get in this kit. I tried pulling my screen up in the lower corner of the iPhone about 40 times. Each time the screen did not lift high enough to get the cheap plastic spudger in the notch you have to use to loosen the screen before the suction cup would pop off the front of the phone. After 40 tries I just bought the other kit.
