The Ouaken electric composter has completely changed how I deal with kitchen waste. It’s tidy, fast, and surprisingly quiet - I honestly can’t imagine going back to a regular food caddy now (which I also bought from desertcart). It reduces waste dramatically and turns it into dry, odour-free compost in just a few hours. I was sceptical at first, but it actually works exactly as described. Even onion peels and leftovers are gone by the next morning. The smell control is excellent – no weird odours at all (carbon filter system clearly does its job) Build quality is solid and it looks quite smart on the counter, not like some bulky bit of equipment you want to hide away. Our kitchen is relatively small/moderate size so it was quite important that it's not bulky. The bucket lifts out easily and can go straight in the dishwasher, which makes it very handy. I also like that it tells you when the filter needs changing. It’s quiet enough to run at night (you can barely hear it), and it doesn’t give off any heat or steam. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this little machine genuinely deserves one. The Ouaken electric composter has completely changed how I deal with kitchen waste.
