When powered the screen stays blank until an image signal is received. The 5 inch monitor comes with 2 mounting brackets so you can either adhere it to the dash board or with the suction mount attach it to your windscreen - or even vice versa! It has 2 AV inputs and works of a 12v power supply. The monitor will stay blank and come to life when a picture signal is received. The 7 inch suction mirror monitor can clip over an existing mounted rear view mirror if your van has one but otherwise also includes a commercial strength suction mount to sucker against your windscreen. It has a mirrored finish so will work as a rear view mirror until you select reverse gear at which point the screen will come on. The 7 inch stalk mirror monitor is designed to attach to the OEM mounting plate / shoe that your windscreen should have for attaching a rear view mirror. If you've access to the rear of the center brake light this is an easy fit. If you found this helpful please click the button below, Thanks ### ⭐⭐ Definitely not ‘plug and play’ *by M***R on 11 December 2021* This does function as a brake light/ reversing camera, but it’s compatible with the stated model of Fiat Ducato only in the sense that it will physically fit the body shell cut out above the rear doors. After you’ve removed the stand offs for the OE brake light screws and devised some mountings of your own (good luck with the included hardware…) And also modified the vehicle loom, or bought/ made an adapter, because the connector doesn’t fit the OE brake light wire plug. The light lens isn’t sealed and doesn’t fit snugly with the light housing on my example, so I doubt it’ll be sufficiently waterproof in the long term but we’ll see.
