Get a couple of 5A batteries and you're set for a week. It operates a little differently than a drill with brushes, which takes a short while to get used to. Drills with motors that have brushes are pretty much instant start and stop. Brushless motors take a second to get up to speed, and to coast to a stop. Personally, I really like that - no jerking or clicking when starting and stopping the drill.Torque? This thing could pull a trailer. It drives 3" screws into pressure treated lumber effortlessly. I've drilled hundreds of holes for wiring runs, thousands of screws for construction, and this thing just plows through the work.
