Fit is a bit bit, closer to a US large than a US medium; could probably go one size down from waist sizing indicated on chart for a closer fit. As is, it fits well and stays put, but feels a bit large. Synthetic material is light, breathable, soft, stretchy and thin. It feels quality, though, and the pink camo print is vibrant and fun. Waistband holds well, as do the leg bands. Pouch holds the genitalia well, providing good support with reasonable space. Rear coverage is also good. Seems to be somewhere between a mid and low rise. Great for everyday wear and light athletics. Price is reasonable.
