In addition, the Vendor's Customer Service is exceptional. I use this ozone unit to neutralize bathroom odors and I also use it to sanitize my produce. Planning on a second purchase very soon so I have one available for sanitizing produce. My only suggestion is if you purchase the Aqua 8 Ozone Generator that you also purchase an extended warranty from desertcart, like I did.

A: Yes, you can use the Aqua-8 with or without oxygen. The advantage of having oxygen is that the unit will produce the full amount of ozone (800 mg/hour) and also, there will be no chemical byproducts from the machine.

Although this is the first time that I have purchased the Aqua 8 ozone generator from Amazon, I have been using this ozone generator for several years now and I have found this particular unit to be the most versatile Ozone Generator I have found anywhere. In addition, the Vendor's Customer Service is exceptional. I use this ozone unit to neutralize bathroom odors and I also use it to sanitize my produce. Planning on a second purchase very soon so I have one available for sanitizing produce. My only suggestion is if you purchase the Aqua 8 Ozone Generator that you also purchase an extended warranty from Amazon, like I did.

It works for my purpose and I have it connected to a Phillips oxygen concentrator to get even more ozone out of this generator. If you connect items to the ozone generator other than the ones provided you will need to purchase an oxygen tubing swivel adaptor. I have not used my setup to make ozonated oil. It seemed more cost effective to purchase the oil from a manufacturer considering how much time it takes to make it. This model provides more power allowing for better shielding and effectiveness a few feet from unit. The programmed setting are exactly what you need making this easy to use. It isn't loud. Bought unit to clean veggies and to make a disinfectant solution since the COVID pandemic. Other brand disinfectants are all gone. Also bought a Hanna Instruments test kit and the SenSafe test strips to measure the dissolved 03. Ran a couple experiments at the 10min setting(#5) in1000ml and 400ml of tap water. Both showed low 0.4 to 0.0 PPM of 03. Ran the 1000ml twice so for 20mins and still not a trace of dissolved 03. Contacted the manufacturer and no reply. This is a big buyer beware. Especially if you think your solution is now killing bacteria and viruses. Just because this device bubbles in the water it is no guarantee you are getting a decent ppm of 03. The recommend levels for disinfection is any were from 2-4ppm. I got no were near this. Plus free 03 in the air in a hazard for breathing. We got asthmatics in the house so this purchase will go into the never again column.
