Product description

Review: Clean-ups, avoiding dry bits, changing colors, all got much easier. - Overview at the end, so if you want "the skinny" & don't feel like hangin' out, go down to the last sentence. Longer version: How did I live without these? I mean, they're so cheap, like in the same category of necessary but cheap things as the peel-off lens protectors I layer up on my mask, straining funnels, disposable bunny suits... they're all priceless, indispensible, and cost almost nothing. Especially considering what they do. There is no excuse to not have these as a standard part of using my paint sprayer. Period. I'll try them with my other sprayers for the compressor, too, but since those are upside-down I'll use some double-sided tape so paint doesn't get stuck in wrinkles of a smallening (New word) bag and the outlet doesn't get blocked. Planning to see if it'll be a better process if I mix, strain, and bag up one large, consistent batch for a whole project, heat-seal the tops, and be able to quickly drop in new bags in succession, only having to cut the sealed end off, fold it over the sides, and wipe the rim. I hope these work as well for enamels and those sprayers as they do for latex & the "power painter" type. Regardless of that experiment: These are now a permanent resident in "paint spraying world" with my latex house paint sprayer. I should have had them years ago. Happy to have them now; better late than never, right? These should come with every power painter as part of the accessory kit so we know about them right from the start. One thing I pondered, though not an issue: If paint is not flowing as well as before, try attaching a grid shaped thing, screen, stainless steel coil like a spring, paperclip, a key, balled up wire, protein shake shaker cup wire spring-globe mixer thingy, or whatever else will fit at the inlet of the feed-tube so the bag can't block it. Simple fix, if needed. I was concerned it might happen to me, but nope. All groovy. In the past, the thought of having to clean out the reservoir, and the paint waste from it, made me hesitate to use the sprayer and choose a brush or roller, instead. These bags can be twist-tied, re-used tomorrow, for as long as the project, with/without much paint. When all done, bags can be poured out, then laid down and any remaining paint squeegeed toward the opening. They're tough enough to handle it, and even be rinsed and re-used, if you want. Point is, no waste like what I had with the bare paint bowl, which was really hard to scrape out. Did I forget anything? Lemme see ... Saves a lot of paint. Easy clean-up. Easy color swap. Durable enough to store liquid paint/reuse/repurpose. I can also bag up brushes/rollers tightly & twist-tie to keep them wet over a break, & even overnight. Cost next to nothing. The paint I save not washing it down the drain, not only from the sprayer reservoir, but also rollers & brushes (over & over), plus not losing any refills or brushes to drying up, covers the price of these bags many, many... ...many times over. That covers what I most wanted to mention, I think. Overview: It's pennies well-spent to keep from wasting serious money on washed-away paint, dried refills/brushes, etc., with any painting method, while also saving paint, time and work at the end of a day by preserving wet brushes/roller/paint from sprayer bagged up until the morning. Unnecessary but slightly amusing information: All of this pleases my inner tight-wad, selective laziness, dislike of waste, and even my oft-dismissed mother-installed-worrier, which is more comfortable having a viable emergency plan to quickly wrap up and scoot without ruining my tools.
Review: Makes cleanup a breeze - If you ever had to clean out the HomeRight sprayer paint container, it is a chore. I have seen using a zip lock bag, but these ar thinner and make clean up way easier. Spraying with them, I had no issues. Great value for the money, they are thinner than a zip lock bag, but they also fit the HomeRight container perfectly, yet allowing you to attach it to the paint gun or putting the lid on for storage. Plus, any left over paint cna be easily squeezed out wuth minimal waste

So I got these for my paint sprayer to save time, I’m inherently lazy so this is a great time saver on clean up, also you can tie off the bags when working between colours to revisit again later. It’s a quick pot clean, pull tie off or bin. It’s well worth the money thus far, I’m 14 bags in and had 1 failure where the bag split and emptied into the pot. I make extra sure to check each bag before use, if it happens again, I may double bag, I really do hate cleaning them pots!
