Its 1.7 mil thickness and 33 oz/in adhesion provide durable, stretch-resistant performance ideal for aerospace, marine, automotive, and metal fabrication industries.

## Description

3M Scotch 685 Riveters Tape: 1 in. x 36 yds. Green / Transparent - 3M Scotch 685 Riveters Tape is a 1.7 mil thick polyester transparent film coated along the edges of the tape only with green rubber adhesive (the center section is uncoated so there is no adhesive transfer to rivet heads). The tape has a tough non-stretch backing which allows it to easily hold rivets in place during riveting (it resists shattering or slivering). The transparent film acts as a "window" and provides easy visibility of rivets. Used in the aerospace, marine, specialty vehicle, transportation, automotive and metal fabrication industries. Can also be used for general holding applications where visibility of item(s) being held is required. The 3/4 inch width size has a 3/16 inch adhesive strip on each edge while the 1 inch width size has a 1/4 inch adhesive strip on each edge. The adhesive provides good immediate adhesion that helps resist stretching of the tape.
