I have a number of double edge razors and so far this is the best one i own. I also have q shave's adjustable that pops open at the top but it's hard to get the top off with wet hands and adjust without slicing your finger open (already did that once). This one you don't have to worry since it's butterfly open. It doesn't clog if you shave like a normal person, meaning shave a few strokes and then run under water like most people do. I'm sure if you tried to shave 3 days worth of growth all at once in thick cream it would clog. the guys on youtube shave weird. never seen people try to shave their whole face in the same pass and complain the razor clogs. must be their first time shaving. Plus they shave really fast. easy way to get irritation and cuts. again, don't know anybody that shaves fast with a double edge razor. If you want to shave fast then get a gillette gazillion blade razor.
