A recent project required a specialist bit that only came in a 6mm shaft size. I was loathe to purchase it unless I could get a Dewalt 6mm collet specific to my DCW600, i would not have gone ahead. The collet is of a different design to both the 1/4" and 8mm collets that come as standard but it fits perfectly and I have used it extensively to complete a project for my workshop. a highly recommended addition to the DCW600 and frankly should come as part of the suite of accessories for the unit.
