I haven't measured the 'weight' going through it at the moment, but it's more than I expected it to handle. Despite appearences, the gearbox is not planetary/epicyclic but is a multistage reduction using steel gears like the N20/N30 motors. The reduction ratio is fixed by type, so be careful which one you order. I have the "200RPM" which is the fastest in the range but unfortunately too slow for my application where it has to drive a worm gear that already gives some reduction. I will see if I can make it a 1:1 bevel gear drive which should then be about right.
