The metal barrels are smoothly finished, and the rings of the swivels seem to be strongly built and aren’t too large for many different types of freshwater and light / inshore saltwater rigs. I haven’t destructive-tested any of them yet, but the smallest (2 gram size) easily withstood a 50 lbs jerk pull while attached to an old spring balance.I will be using these for heavier float fishing applications (e.g. Carp, Big Browns, Salmon, Rock and Inshore Reef Fish, etc.) ; I’m confident that they will work fine with balanced tackle up to 12-20 lbs IGFA class gear. I will provide an update if I notice any issues after some big fish catching sessions; this seems unlikely however, due to the solid quality of construction. One minor point (not a negative!). In the largest size compartment, there are actually two sizes; 11g and 14g, and these are almost identical at a glance.
