## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do I need to take off the mesh/net like thing that wraps around the pebbles?   Or do I put the entire thing in the pot?**
A: Yes the whole piece goes in the bottom of the pot. The mesh helps to keep any large materials from draining out of the pot or stopping up the drainage holes; the rest is to ensure the water drains the way it should.

**Q: are these rigid? or are they soft and flexible?**
A: They are not rigid.  I would not say they are soft.  They are more like a plastic mesh with pebbles inside it.  The mesh is somewhat stiff, but still can be "squished".  Hope that helps.

**Q: Can these be used to provide drainage in pots without drainage holes?**
A: No. This product consists of tiny marble-like round beads inside a mesh cover.  Water is not absorbed by the beads. Water just passes through the mesh cover and then out through the pot’s drain hole. No drain hole = no water drainage.

**Q: what is the diameter of the disc?**
A: I used the 5 inch size for pots that are 10-12 inches wide. I also used gravel in each pot,since drainage is always a problem for container gardens. (I believe they also have other sizes, but 5 inches worked best for me.)
