This is a 2 layer case, a hard plastic case is set against an inner TPU layer. The difference being the two layers are essentially pancaked on top of one another so you nave full body coverage and protection. Cutouts are perfect and provide excellent access to side buttons. The fit is perfect. I didn't get the MagSafe version. The sides are grippy and the back has a texture that enhances grip. Best of all though, this case is super easy to keep clean and doesn't attract fingerprints at all. The front is taller than the curved screen of the OnePlus, so other than a direct impact, it should offer some protection against falls. Same goes for the back camera opening but the paranoid me still got a glass protector for the camera bump. This is a great case and checks all the boxes.
