Every morning we would wake up to them tapping on the outside of the bedroom walls. I fixed the holes with wood putty and then hung these from an eyelet that I screwed into the siding. Since then the woodpeckers have stopped pecking on the house and have moved on to the surrounding trees. The reflective mirrors move with the wind and scare the woodpeckers away. I assembled them in a four patterned style. I removed one star simply because I bought several boxes and some of them broke at the circle where you would attach another.
