The clear back is awesome to show off the cutting-edge design of your iPhone. Personally, I was trying to find out a good case for my gold iPhone and it was quite hard because a few colours match with gold. I've also tried some transparent models without succeed.I had considered the reviews talking about scratches on the back before buying and after analysing the pros and cons I decided to buy. Actually, I will have to say that many of those cons are not necessarily truth. I've used this case about a month and within this period I've removed and put the case back once (even though it was not actually necessary, I'm perfectionist). At least from now my review on this case is extremely positive. It's difficult to notice the scratches on the back unless you have a light on it. By now, when I check out the reviews on the belkin view case saying it looks nasty and grumpy I just can think about the person removing and putting on every day, loosing the material and enhancing the chances of dusts entering between the iPhone and the back of the case. By the month I've used this product it looks pretty nice.Another con I've noticed in the reviews was discolouring. Yes, that's true. It discolours, but once more, at least if you take care of your iPhone how it was naked as well as the scratch issue it won't bother you. By the way, my one looks pretty normal on this aspect. It's a bit yellow, but you've got to pay much attention to notice.In comparison with Griffin Reveal case, for example, it's harder on hands but because it's tight it's not prone to get dust between the phone and the clear back as the Reveal, which has got a larger opening around the camera. I also think Reveal discolours much faster. I've purchased the white version thus if you concern about discolouring you may also consider purchasing the black version, I don't think you will have this problem with that.In general, I do love this case and I would recommend to everyone as I've emphasised here.Pros:- It fits on your iPhone extremely well.- The clear back it's appropriate if you want to show off your iPhone or like to use it naked.- It matches with the gold iPhone 5s.- You can access to all the buttons easily (even thought the power button is a bit hard, but nothing to worry about).- It's not prone to get dust between the case and the phone like other clear-case products.- I've never let it drop, but I guess it offers high protection.- I don't think it's too expensive, I may say it's in an appropriate price.Cons:- It discolours, even though it's not that much how other reviews may say.- It's difficult to remove and you've got to pay attention when removing to not scratch the back of the case (try starting with the top, neither the bottom nor around volume buttons).- It scratches easily if you usually don't take care of your iPhone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Me likey! *by V***) on Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2013* Let me start with this: I don't generally like Belkin products. I find they're generally okay pieces with excessive price tags. In spite of this, however, I chose to give this case a try simply because it was, well, simple. I have a white iPhone 5 and find it quite pretty. Though my Otterbox Commuter case is very good, it covers the phone completely.So this case arrives, complete with screen cover...which was total crap, by the way. Flimsy, and dust got under it instantly and...I digress. So the case, I press my phone gently into it—since it fits very, very snuggly—and that's it. It's on, well! No sag, no jiggle, no misfit of any sort. Impressive! (Getting it off is a feat but, I've only had to do that to put on a new screen protector).There's an slight edge on the front which keeps the face from touching surfaces. The entire edge of the phone is covered in a white (the color I chose) silicon, rubbery type material which feels good in your hand. Every orifice is accessible or easily clickable. The back is a clear, hard plastic which allows the beauty of the phone to shine through.I imagine, if dropped appropriately, the back might ding or mar; and this case is definitely not for the accident prone. But if you carry a purse, bag, man sack or other similar implement, this is a very stylish way to dress your phone.Ah yes, cleaning.
