My friend has one for about 18 bucks and he said you should have spent the extra money. **Q: How good is side visibility for the Cygolight Hotrods in an urban setting?** A: These lights are most visible from directly behind or a 45 degree angle. You can see them a block away. At a 180 degree (side) angle you can still see them because they are so bright but not as bright as the rear view. There are other lights intended to give a 270 degree view if that's the goal.
