Thank you** A: I used this to remove paint from staircase spindles although I used paint stripper as opposed to a heat gun. **Q: Does the blade go all the way through the handle to the hammer end or is the end just stuck to the plastic handle?** A: The phrase "full tang" means (in knives and sword world's) as the shaft of the "blade" goes all the way through to the end of the handle. Half tang is where they insert it part way imto the handle.
