Review: A Product Worth Investing In - I have shopped desertcart for over 10 years and have never taken the time to respond on a products positive/negative aspects. Until now. The Etekcity lantern is a superior product and at a low price. I was hunting for household flashlights for usage during an electrical outage and found this item during that search. I wanted something using double A batteries as all the flashlights are and something that could sit on a shelf without looking like a lantern, and then work when needed. The 360 degree LED light comes on when you pull it out of the canister and the amount of light can be regulated by how far it is pulled out. Quality material and good looking - and works. Price was very impressive also.

We had a power outage and I didn't have enough "D" batteries for one of my old camping lanterns! We had an another outage with these lanterns and they worked perfectly. It's amazing how much light they put off for such a small lantern and they are light weight. I'm very happy with this purchase.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good lantern, poor flashlight

The lantern is bright and has a long run time. The flashlight is fine in a pinch but not very powerful and not adjustable. Construction is lightweight, just be aware that you’re trading poundage for durability. I like the variable strap position though wish the clips were secured better. Those pressure clips will get lost in an instant. Overall a fine purchase for the money, just be reasonable about your use cases.
