It offers many advantages over their older DCX line. Includes a fuse, stainless steel mounting bolts, flexi-mount adapter plate, instruction manual. NOTE: This unit has connections and programming with Yamaha YDRE stock electrical system. If you don't have a stock motor please contact us the same day as your order with your motor model number and voltage so we can reprogram the controller before it ships. I was also looking for the option to upgrade later and be able to diagnose and trouble shoot problems when they happen. The Alltrax did all of it without a sweat. The package came with the needed adapter mount to install it in the location of the factory controller. It also had all needed hardware and great simple instructions. If you can bake cookies you should be able to install this. Not to mention their customer service was awesome when I called. Once installed you can plug your computer into it with a printer USB cord (not included) and it will give you live data and the ability to save logs to send to Alltrax in the case of a problem. Very simple app to use and make changes to the performance of the cart. All of my wires were plug and play with the stock stuff and I was able to hit 22 mph with only this change. They do make a cooling fan for the controller but I haven't had mine get warm yet. I figured if it does I can add it on later. As a newbie to this stuff I have had a great experience and would urge anyone to take on this project cause it is easy and gives you a lot of bang for your buck.
