Review: Awesome kit for the price. - I purchased the meter to keep check of my blood glucose, started a new diet to manage type 2. The kit arrived well packaged and with an abundant amount of test strips and needles. I did not set my meter up, I just wrote my numbers down on the log sheet supplied with the kit. I think the voice that reads out the levels and the auto shut off when the test strip is removed is a value in itself. Now here is the stumbling block, how accurate is it? I have had one extremely high reading, it could have been accurate or not, I did not recheck, I just accepted it and went on from there. If your blood glucose or type 2 is at the critical level where your health/life depends on accurate numbers, splurge for a meter suggested by your doctor. Otherwise it is a great starter kit and simple to use.

A: amazon and they are cheap just request needles for prodigy meter

**Q: Can I use the needles more than once since it only contains 10?**
A: Yes. Use alcohol swabs before pricking your finger. I use one needle for months. Eventually the needle will dull because of the acidity in the blood.

A: Look for the expiration date on the upper left hand corner of the attached label.

**Q: Can this also be used to Check or monitor Cholesterol?, im asking bc i have one of this but i found i have high Cholesterol now.**
A: No it cannot be used for cholesterol.. It is only for blood sugar.
