When on the base, the glide directions are so dynamic which i think our little one loves! Now some reviews have rated it high but mentioned it difficult to put together. I cannot say that was my experience. My husband was at work late and I couldnt wait to try it out lol. I was able to put the rocker together myself barely utilizing the directions. No tools are needed, as everything is clip-in locking system. It took some trial and error to get the cover clipped in all the right places but it was pretty self explanatory for the most part.
