It is an effective mask though. **Q: Does this contain PVA?** A: Hello, One of the ingredients is PVA **Q: Will this hurt?** A: Not if you dermaplane first. I dermaplane, and this didn't hurt a bit. It hurts because it's ripping your hair out. **Q: Is the collagen animal based? It says vegan but I would like to be sure** A: You don't really have a way to tell if it is vegan or not because you only know what they tell you. What I can say is that it is a mask that works very well. It doesn't pull as hard as the black masks but it is much better then the rubber feeling masks. The tube is a good size. It does take longer to completely dry but I think most masks take longer. I have given this as a gift for no reason to friends and family and everyone likes it.
