Split one open and the caviar spills out, thousands of tiny seeds packed inside a single cured pod. That is what real vanilla looks like, nothing extracted, nothing synthetic.
Hand pollinated one flower at a time, then slow sun cured on open racks in the Western Ghats over many weeks. That slow cure is what builds the deep aroma that synthetic vanillin cannot match.

- MOST VANILLA IS NOT VANILLA: Almost all of the world's vanilla flavour is synthetic vanillin, built in a factory from wood pulp and petrochemicals, and real vanilla from the pod is only about one percent of the market. These are the real thing, whole Grade A gourmet beans from a hand-pollinated orchid, the same plant that gives Madagascar its famous vanilla.
- ONE ORIGIN, THE KERALA HIGH RANGE: Grown in the Idukki highlands of Kerala's Western Ghats, a UNESCO World Heritage range, where the vines climb at 700 to 1500 metres in the shade of coconut, pepper and coffee. The slow, shaded hill maturing and the humid monsoon climate are what make the beans plump and oily, with a vanillin content of 1.5 to 2 percent.
- RICH, CREAMY, WITH DARK CHOCOLATE AND WARM SPICE: A deep, rounded vanilla aroma, sweet and creamy up front, with notes of dark chocolate and a warm clove and cinnamon edge, finishing on a soft woody, earthy note. Real cured vanilla carries more than two hundred aroma compounds, where synthetic essence is a single note.
- WHOLE GRADE A GOURMET PODS, NOT ESSENCE: Plump, oily, pliable beans with a high seed density, each one about 3 to 5 grams and up to 14 cm long. Slice a pod lengthwise, scrape out the sticky black seeds, and use the seeds and the pod together in ice cream, custards, cakes, payasam and kheer, coffee, or your own homemade vanilla extract.
- JUST VANILLA, NOTHING ELSE: One ingredient, real vanilla beans, with no synthetics, no flavouring and nothing added. Every flower is pollinated by hand and the beans are slow sun-cured the traditional way.
