The badly damaged areas where I put the anti-rodent tape & spiral cable tidy (as repair and protection) and then sprayed . . . completely untouched. Other areas that I sprayed . . . untouched i.e no NEW damage. AND still loads in tin for another really good spray in 2 or 3 months time. Ecstatic with the result is an understatement! ###### original review ###### Quite simply you spray it on surfaces that rats and mice are chewing on. To rats and mice it tastes awful . . . they stop chewing . . . damage stops. It is not a deterrent to make them stay away, it is not a poison to kill them and spraying this product all over the place to keep them away is pointless! I bought this for two vehicles where we are getting rodent damage to the hoses and wiring in the engine compartment. This product is not expensive — I did both vehicles with more than enough left over to do them again in 6 months time. Note: I first sprayed the damaged cables . . . I then used plastic spiral cable tidy (various sizes bought on desertcart) to cover the damaged areas of wiring and then sprayed the cable tidies!
