Even more of a problem was lining up small paint samples to make sure I get the most shapes out of one piece. With these punches, I can be exact in where I'm punching, and waste material. It's DEFINITELY a whole lot more convenient than cranking up the cutting machine. And these punches make my pieces uniform so I don't worry about mis-cuts or paper shifting, There are only a few pieces of cardstock these punches would NOT cut through, so I made a template/stencil with the punch and the cardstock that came in the packaging, and draw the shapes onto heavier cardstock to cut out manually. I like the option to cut three different sizes too, for smaller scale pieces.
