I purchased this lounger to sit in the floor at times and pet my dogs. My new couch is too tall for my little dogs to get up on. So I will sit in this chair and enjoy some lap time with them. I imagine this would also be a good chair to enjoy floor time with small children. It supports your back and backside well.
