However, I feel there is a flaw in material quality, specifically the metal look that holds some of the straps together. After about a year of use, the metal loop which holds the heel strap snapped in two, rendering the shoe unwearable. A weak link, in an otherwise good product. I repaired it using some strong electrical wire, to replace the metal loop. All fine, until the next day when the same loop on the OTHER SHOE broke too! Given they have lasted a year I can't really complain too much. But a better quality steel would make these sandals a much better and longer lasting product. And perhaps I have been somewhat luckier than others.
