The PVC cap is extruded in a "U" shape and is 20' long, 6" high x 12" wide across the top. I need a means of welding the 20 pieces together to form a strong clean joint. In some cases there could be a gap of maybe 1/8". Other joints would be hopefully tighter. All this joining will be done on site as the cap is placed on top of the vinyl seawall sheeting. Access to the inside is not possible therefore the weld needs to be made to the outside "U" PVC cap. Is your plastic Hot Air Gun practical for this application. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
