A: This is made for molle connection not Velcro. So no.

**Q: Will this attach to any bag or just compatible with a specific brand/type?**
A: This will attach to any molle compatible item, of any brand or type.

**Q: Will it hold 12-24 oz cans?**
A: I don't think it'll hold a 12 Oz can. The circumference may work, but the second strap is likely too high, and cans would probably fall out.  That is, if we're talking about 12 Oz soda cans and such.

**Q: how does it hold on to the backback?**
A: It holds on pretty well. weave it, like you would other MOLLE attachments, and it should hold fine.
