I needed to get a sturdy bench for recovery from back surgery, but didn't want an ugly medical one. It was super easy to assemble and was very sturdy when finished. I tightened a couple screws too hard and have a couple tiny cracks but they don't seem to have affected the durability at all. I did put 3 coats of spar urethane to protect from getting black as some reviews had warned.
