**Q: The hood rod popped out of my 2013 Tacoma.  The base to the rod, where it is held in the frame is missing.  Is this that part?**
A: Yes. This grommet holds the hood prop rod in place at the at it's base to the frame of the car. When ordering, make sure the part number fits your car, (model, trim line, etc.) Amazon should tell whether that number corresponds to your specific model. Also, when I installed the grommet I first had to put the prop rod through the grommet and then press the plastic grommet through the hold without breaking/cracking it. I used the face of an open end wrench, placed it against the grommet and tapped it in. Good luck, hope this helps.

A: Yes this will fit the 2011 Corolla.

**Q: will this fit a rav4 2012**
A: NO

**Q: Will this fit on 1999 Camry?**
A: Yes, this did fit on my 1999 Camry LE so it should work on all 1999 Camry Hood Prop Rods. Getting it installed was a bit tricky.
