My daughter got this for her birthday and it was her favorite gift. There's a button with ABC on it, but it just says the letter when you push it. The animal button makes animal sounds, then spells out what animal it is. There's a button that just makes random sounds when you push it, and it makes noises as you draw on it. It's not a quiet toy, but it seems really durable. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles like a Vtech or LeapFrog toy, but that's not what we were looking for.
