I decided to not take my wheel off but now wish I did. I’m a large guy and it’s very hard to get the appropriate angles to sew everything correctly. The instructions are basically pointless once you get to the sewing step. I looked up videos on YouTube for help since I have zero experience with a thread and needle. I’ve competed sewing 1/3 sections and am happy with the look and feel. The instructions are very clear about trying to perfectly align the three spokes...do this. Tucking the leather overhang in the steering wheel creases requires the leather to be properly placed with just the right amount of overhang at each spoke. This will make more sense when looking at the directions and leather.If you’re a patient person and need to cover up a peeling oem wheel, this is a fine option. I would suggest setting aside 5 hours for install, this includes time for researching how to remove the wheel, looking up videos on sewing, and potentially redoing any sections that don’t come out “just right”. If you finish quicker than that, then great, kudos to you. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome, just very hard to install and instructions are terrible *by B***Y on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 14, 2018* This is an excellent heavy steering wheel cover. It is sturdy, cut perfectly, and feels great on the hands. It is very hard to install, but there is really no way around that. A tucked in sewn onw steering wheel cover is going to be hard to install no matter what. The thing keeping this from being 5 stars is the sad state of the instruction. You can reference a few key points, but in the end pretty much have to figure it out for yourself. It took me nearly 4 hours to install, but one hour was spend figuring out how to remove my airbag and the steering wheel. It is not necessary to remover the steering wheel, but if I hadn't i would likely have given up half way through the install. It was a chore to install with the wheel off, I can't imagine doing it with the wheel on. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks amazing, how it should have came from the factory. *by C***L on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 28, 2021* Looks and feels awesome. Took two hours, I am positive that if I were to do another I could install in less than an hour. But if you read the instructions carefully it says to stitch through the leather for your first pass and then through the stitching on the cover.
