They seem very robust but only one out of the three has a smooth action. The other two are quite stiff and feel like I'm doing some kind of hand strength workout. I've been trying to work them loose hoping the grease will find a way through but it doesn't seem to be getting any better. Will give them another go in the morning and if they are still very stiff I'll be getting a new set sent out instead. They are for my MIL's (very heavy) shed door (hence why I wanted stainless steel), and I get that with a door on them they might open easier due to leverage but it's weird that one of the hinges opens much easier than the other two which makes it seem more like an engineering tolerance/accuracy issue. I don't want it to be laborious for my MIL to open-close her shed door. EDIT: now that hinges are installed the door swings open/closed effortlessly.
