Try flipping power supply so I breathes air from p.c. if similar situation. If it over heats it won't turn on for 5-30mins till the thermal safety switch is cold enough to allow power to turn back on. Also note if you can turn it right back on it's not over heating it's hitting max load, and safety breaker is tripping essentially.
