A: Jar is all stainless steel and well built, only the bottom part where it attaches to mixer is plastic and also the lid which is sturdy.

**Q: Does this jar fits into preethi eco plus mg-138 mixer grinder ?**
A: Yes, it does

**Q: Does this jar fit on the same gauge as a standard American blender, like say an Oster?**
A: No

**Q: can i use this jar to make dosa/idly batters ? will it grind too much?**
A: We can make dosa and idli better. It will grind well.
