You would need to check with you local or national agency to see if it is acceptable without certification. **Q: If not using all of them within 5-7 days, can you freeze them to keep the freshness?** A: I personally would not freeze it myself unless making some sort of compound butter with the truffle and herbs. Others may feel differently but this is my opinion. **Q: This arrived with no brine in my jar. Is it safe to eat?** A: The brine is very little that will actually be in the jar. It more so has to do with the process that preserves the truffles. You may see a teaspoon or two at most of the residual brine at the bottom of the jar. **Q: Are these pre-washed?** A: I don’t know. I didn’t wash them. They’re in a brine. I’m still alive. ## Frequently Bought Together - Slofoodgroup Black Truffles, Preserved Whole Black Truffles (Tuber Aestivum) Preserved in Brine (30 gram net weight truffles) - Truffle Mushroom Gourmet Food - Patelai 2 Pieces Truffle Slicer Adjustable Blade Rosewood Handle Stainless Steel Cheese Chocolate Truffle Shaver Cutter for Kitchen Supplies - TruffleHunter - Premium Black Truffle Slices - 2.82 Oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/695755698-slofoodgroup-black-truffles-pickled-whole-black-truffles-tuber-aestivum-pickled](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/695755698-slofoodgroup-black-truffles-pickled-whole-black-truffles-tuber-aestivum-pickled) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
